Bethenny Frankel doubles down on criticism of Kim Kardashian's skin care line | Wonderwall.com

Sorry, not sorry. Bethenny Frankel is standing by her criticism of Kim Kardashian's skin care line, and she's not afraid of the repercussions.

"I'm proud of myself for speaking my mind when it's not that easy to do so, when it can be scary and you're alone," she said in an Instagram video Wednesday, Aug. 24. "When everyone around you tells you not to say anything. You don't want to mess with these people, don't screw around, you have too much to lose."

The "Real Housewives of New York" alum continued, "You know what? I don't want to be a follower. I want to be me, who has an opinion and is honest and is straightforward. Cancel me if that's not gonna work, but I'm not gonna be afraid."

In confirming what she was talking about, Bethenny included the hashtags "Kardashian cleanse" and "Kardashian intervention."

The determined post comes after the Skinny Girl founder ripped Kim's new skin care line, Skkn, calling it "impractical at best" and "somewhat overpriced." In her criticism, she centered on the packaging of an egg-shaped eye cream.

"I don't have a circular house or medicine cabinet. It doesn't even have a flat bottom, so it's effectively like an egg," she lamented.

Bethenny was equally flummoxed by the packing of an exfoliator.

"You have to be a billionaire to use this product, because if you don't have a private plane, how are you traveling with this?" she asked. "It's just not practical."

Prince Harry and Duchess Meghan are going to have to learn the right way to act.

With King Charles and Harry's stepmother, Camilla Parker Bowles, now leading the royal family amid Queen Elizabeth II's death, Harry and Meghan will now have to have deference to both of them, according to experts.

"The personal impact is likely the protocol changes that roll into action almost immediately," a source told Page Six. "The family will now have to bow or curtsy to King Charles and Queen [Consort] Camilla."

For a family already rich with tension, this caveat is likely to be very annoying for Harry and Meghan, as he is reportedly not especially fond of Camilla.

"It would be the protocol to bow to the new king and Queen," Majesty managing editor Joe Little told Page Six. "Whether that happened under such circumstances [on Thursday or Friday morning] is debatable, but any time the royal family meets the new king and queen, the done thing would be to bow or curtsy to them."

The strife between Harry and Meghan's and the rest of the royal family is well documented, as the Duke of Sussex detailed in an Oprah interview last year (an interview that didn't sit well with the royals). Further, TMZ said Meghan did not get an invite to be by Her Majesty's side in her final moments.

Still, Charles, in his first speech as King, wished Harry and Meghan well, as if to extend an olive branch.

"I want to express my love for Harry and Meghan as they continue to build their lives overseas," he said.

The bond between Chelsea Clinton and Ivanka Trump is officially broken.

The two women were rather close for several years, but their friendship took a nosedive when Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton faced off in the contentious 2016 election.

"I would say we were friends," Chelsea told Andy Cohen on "Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen" on Thursday, Sept. 8. Detailing their friendship, Chelsea added, "She's not the person I called when I was curious about something for my kids or if I was debating a life decision, but we were definitely friends. And then she went to the dark side."

Although Bill and Hillary Clinton's daughter didn't detail what the "dark side" was, she seems to be referring to Donald's campaign, especially given that the women haven't spoken since 2016.

During the interview with Andy, Chelsea also countered a statement in Jared Kushner's book that claimed Ivanka, Jared's wife, invited Chelsea to dinner after the election, in which Trump prevailed over Hillary.

"It is true that I spoke to Ivanka in November 2016, it's the last time I have spoken to her," Chelsea stated. "But I do not recall being invited to dinner."

Things weren't always this way for the two women. Prior to the election, Chelsea, 42, and Ivanka, 40, said politics wouldn't come between their relationship.

"I still consider her [Ivanka] a very close friend, and she considers me as well. We have a great relationship," Chelsea told Vogue in 2015. "She's always aware of everyone around her and ensuring that everyone is enjoying the moment. It's an awareness that in some ways reminds me of my dad, and his ability to increase the joy of the room. There's nothing skin-deep about Ivanka."

Not long after, Ivanka told Harper's Bazaar, "I still consider her a very close friend, and she considers me as well. We have a great relationship. I'm not running for public office, and neither is she, so of course we're still friends."

Near the end of Donald Trump's term, Chelsea did an about face, telling Andy Cohen in 2020, "I have no interest in being friends with someone who is not only complicit but actively taking part in this administration's every day collision of cruelty and incompetence. We were in touch at the beginning of the campaign, but it's just really hard when there's someone who's actively embracing their candidate, whether it's their father or not, who is trafficking in racism and sexism and anti-Semitism and Islamophobia and homophobia and transphobia and conspiracy theories and lies and is so fundamentally corrupt."

Do you "Believe" Cher called Queen Elizabeth II a "cow?" Or did she?

The iconic singer is in the headlines after making an apparent gaffe in a touching Twitter tribute to Queen Elizabeth II after the royal's passing. It seems that Cher meant to call Her Majesty a GOAT (Greatest Of All Time), but instead used a different farm animal.

Am Sad About The Passing Of Queen Elizabeth II.I Had Honor Of Meeting Her. I Was In Long Line of Ppl Waiting 2 Meet Her,Yet When She Got 2 Me,She Asked Me Pertinent Questions,& Seemed Genuinely Interested In Talking 2 Me.I'm Proud She Was a🐂& Happy She Had a Great Sense Of Humor

"Am Sad About The Passing Of Queen Elizabeth II," Cher wrote. "I Had Honor Of Meeting Her. I Was In Long Line of Ppl Waiting 2 Meet Her, Yet When She Got 2 Me, She Asked Me Pertinent Questions, & Seemed Genuinely Interested In Talking 2 Me."

She then noted, "I'm Proud She Was a [cow emoji] & Happy She Had a Great Sense Of Humor."

A slew of Cher's fans questioned the usage of the cow emoji, as they assumed the "If I Could Turn Back Time" singer did it by accident. However, several other fans insisted that the emoji represented a bull, as both Cher and the beloved Queen fall under the astrological sign of the Taurus.

"I first read it as cow and thought to myself I know Cher is not calling the queen a cow," a social media user said. "So I thought about it for a second and realized it was the astrological sign Taurus."

Cher actually met the late Queen twice, as many of her fans pointed out, once in 1988 at the premiere of "Empire of the Sun," and again in 2001 at the Royal Variety Performance.

Seemingly inspired by the death of Queen Elizabeth II, Kanye West is wiping the slate clean.

On Friday, Sept. 9, the rapper declared that he is no longer beefing with many of his enemies. In an Instagram post, Ye posted several images of Her Majesty. He then wrote, "LIFE IS PRECIOUS … RELEASING ALL GRUDGES TODAY … LEANING INTO THE LIGHT."

Ye then specifically named Pete Davidson, Kid Cudi and Adidas Senior Vice President/General Manager Daniel Cherry.

"BEST WISHES AND BLESSINGS TO PETE CUDI DANIEL," he said.

A post shared by Ye West (@kanyewest)

Ye then changed his post and removed the shoutouts to the three men.

Over the years, the "Heartless" rapper has beefed with a slew of people, but he recently zeroed in on Pete Davidson because he was dating Ye's ex-wife, Kim Kardashian. During the course of the romance, he consistently called out the "SNL" alum and disturbingly decapitated him in claymation. Ye then celebrated (and somewhat took credit) when Kim and Pete's romance fizzled and ended. Ye also feuded with Cudi because the "Day and Night" singer refused to drop his friendship with Pete.

Kanye's most recent public mud-slinging came at the expense of Daniel Cherry, who the rapper accused of stealing designs and watering down the Yeezy brand.

More often than not, the men didn't respond to Ye's antics, making the feuds fairly one-sided.

Of course, Kanye has called ceasefire's before, which never lasted.

Broadway actress Megan Hilty is in mourning after several family members died in a plane crash near Seattle, Washington.

King 5 reported that Megan's sister Lauren, who was pregnant with her second child, was aboard the plane — as was Lauren's husband, Ross Mickel, and their son, Remy. In all, 10 people died when the single-engine propeller plane went down on Sunday, Sept. 4, into Puget Sound near Whidbey Island. The crash site is about 30 miles from Seattle.

"We are deeply saddened and beyond devastated at the loss of our beloved Ross Mickel, Lauren Hilty, Remy and their unborn baby boy, Luca. Our collective grief is unimaginable," Ross's family said in a statement.

On Sept. 7, Megan broke her silence, sharing on Instagram alongside photos of her loved ones, "On Sunday afternoon, a small float plane crashed into Puget Sound off the coast of Whidbey Island. My beloved sister Lauren, brother-in-law Ross and baby nephew Remy were on that plane. To make this news even more devastating, my sister was eight months pregnant and we were expecting to welcome baby boy Luca into the world next month."

Megan continued, "The last three days have been the worst of our lives. There are truly no words to appropriately convey the depth of our grief. The last thing I wanted to do was acknowledge this painful family tragedy publicly, but it's come to my attention that several news outlets have misgendered my sweet nephew and some haven't even mentioned baby Luca," the Broadway star explained. "Lauren and Ross left behind my niece who we are all holding in our hearts. Thankfully, she was not on the plane and we ask that her name and personal information be kept private as she is a minor.

"It is important these details be corrected to respectfully honor everyone we've lost and the loved ones they've left behind," Megan — who starred in "Smash," "Annie Live" and several Broadway shows including "Wicked" — added. "The outpouring of love and support has meant so much to everyone in our family. It has been so comforting to know just how loved Lauren, Ross, Remy and Luca truly are."

The cause of the plane crash isn't known. TMZ reported that one body had been recovered before the search was suspended on Monday. The plane was operated by Friday Harbor Seaplanes.

Zac Efron is facing the music.

Back in 2021, the Internet lit up and wondered if the actor got plastic surgery or fillers after his face appeared incredibly puffy in a Facebook video. In the new October 2022 issue of Men's Health, Zac denied going under the knife, revealing that he shattered his jaw after slipping while running around the house in socks.

The "High School Musical" star said he slipped and hit the corner if a fountain, which caused him to pass out. When Zac awoke, his chin bone was "hanging off" his face, he said.

Following the in-home accident, Zac said his facial muscles got "really, really big." During the recovery, he worked with a physical therapist to counteract their growth and get back his face back to form.

This marked the second time Zac broke his jaw, having done so in 2013.

After the 2021 video, fans dubbed Zac unrecognizable.

whoever made zac efron feel like he needed to change his face, i hate you pic.twitter.com/8Z8UKZ5coG

"I refuse to believe this is Zac Efron's face now," one person wrote. Another said, "There's a pic of Zac Efron with terrible botox and jaw fillers circulating on Twitter.

Yet another tweeted, "Whoever made zac efron feel like he needed to change his face, i hate you."

Shortly after the video, one of Zac's pals denied that the "17 Again" star had plastic surgery.

Funny enough, as Zac is not on social media, he was unaware that his face was trending until his mom told him. Still, he shrugs off the opinions that social media had.

"If I valued what other people thought of me to the extent that they may think I do, I definitely wouldn't be able to do this work," he said.

Bam Margera has fled his court-mandated rehab again, and he's now no longer speaking to his parents.

The former MTV star left a Florida rehab facility on Sunday, Sept. 4, and seen at a local bar soon after, TMZ reported, which also published video of Bam leaving the 57 Tavern with a woman. Bam appeared to struggle while leaving the bar at 1 a.m. in Monday morning.

According to the website, Bam told friends that he met a male lawyer in rehab, and that attorney said he could get the prankster out of the facility. The caveat: Bam had to leave the state to get out of his court-ordered treatment.

Bam is currently staying with a family friend in the Sunshine State, but he's decided to cut off communication with his parents, who he's butting heads with. Bam is also reportedly upset that he's heard little-to-nothing from his estranged wife and their son, Phoenix, since late June.

The troubled reality TV star left a rehab center in June and turned up at a bar, similar to his most recent escape. After a few days, he was located at a Deerfield Beach, Florida, on June 15. There, police, a crisis intervention team and his parents pleaded with Bam to return to rehab, which he did.

TMZ said police and a crisis intervention team will likely try to track him down again and get him to agree to return for treatment.

"Euphoria" actress Hunter Schafer defended herself and denied speculation that she doesn't support non-binary people.

The rumors began after the 23-year-old "liked" an Instagram post critical of non-binary community, claiming it was responsible for conservative legislation, particularly in Florida.

This week, the actress posted a series of images from the throughout the summer. Soon after, fans used the comments section to ask her stance.

A post shared by Hunter (@hunterschafer)

"i hold absolutely no hatred towards non-binary folks," Hunter wrote, according to Page Six screenshots. "i agreed with another t-girl's post in which she pointed out an in-balance in the visibility and space-taken up between non-binary folks and binary trans women (particularly those of color and/or those who have resulted to sex work as a means of survival) that i think deserves attention/ re-evaluation (as far as resources and platforms go) within the LGBTQ+ community."

Hunter, who is dating "Euphoria" costar Dominic Fike, assured her 7 million Instagram followers that she is not a "trans medicalist," which means she does not agree with the idea that "being transgender or transsexual is contingent upon experiencing gender dysphoria or requiring medical treatment to transition," according to Wikipedia.

The questioning of Hunter's views stem from an August post that read, "For the last time I am begging non binary people to take a seat and let binary trans people and more specifically black trans women be the voices of the community because they are the ones at risk."

Chris Pine's team is speaking truth to the spitting theory that has dominated social media.

Over the past few days, a rumor floating around Twitter claimed that Harry Styles spat on Chris at the premiere of "Don't Worry Darling" at the Venice Film Festival Monday, Sept. 5.

Video of the supposed incident shows Harry walking to his seat as the crowd — including Chris — applauds. Then, just as Harry sits, Chris reacts in a stunned manner and stops clapping. He even appears to look down at his pants while smirking.

#HarryStyles appears to spit on Chris Pine i won't sleep until i know the truth pic.twitter.com/wLXjIHTYgU

Harry, meanwhile, didn't seem to acknowledge Chris, which only fanned the flames.

Social media is convinced that Harry hurled saliva at him. On Tuesday, Chris' team ended the speculation, saying the former "Star Trek" star was sans-spit.

"This is a ridiculous story — a complete fabrication and the result of an odd online illusion that is clearly deceiving and allows for foolish speculation," Chris rep told People magazine. "Just to be clear, Harry Styles did not spit on Chris Pine."

"There is nothing but respect between these two men and any suggestion otherwise is a blatant attempt to create drama that simply does not exist," the statement continued.
